During this season of Ordinations of Deacons and Priests... Thank you!

May is a popular month for the ordinations of Priests and Deacons and simerilarly it is it a popular month for Marriages. As we enter the season of Easter the Church dedicates the month of May to Our Lady Queen of Heaven and Earth. The earth shows its love for Our Lady and beauty in her honor. May is dotted with Flowers covering the earth the trees regaining their leaves and the grass green and lush plants and bushes adorning themselves for the benefit of adoring Our Lady and to celebrate the Risen Christ. Rejoicing with Our Lady we sing "Rejoice Queen of Heaven Alleluia for he who though has made worthy to bear Alleluia Alleluia has risen as He said. Pray for us to God Alleluia Rejoice and be glad oh Virgin Mary for the Lord has truly risen indeed. O God, who by the Resurrection of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, you have granted to give joy to the whole world: grant, we beseach you, that through the prayers and intercessions of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may lay hold of the joys of eternal life. Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen. "

Marriages join in this time of year to honor Our Lady's Love for Our Lord and for Our Lords Love for his people and for thanksgiving of the Graces accorded to Our Lady to allow her to cooperate with the Divine Will. Bishops travel throughout their diocese Confirming young men and women in the faith and through the sacrament let loose the gifts of the Holy Spirit! Many show their Love of the Faith through participating in the sacraments that lead them to full communion with the Church and we celebrate many anniversaries within this month. Wedding anniversaries, baptism anniversaries, confirmation and first communion anniversaries, Deaconate anniversaries, and Ordinations to the Priesthood and Bishop anniversaries. All of these days in May of rememberances have a common thread and that is of the Great gift of faith hope and love in Our Lord! What a beautiful month for Our Church and for Our Lady Queen of heaven and earth. I thank all of those whom have cooperated with the grace given to them to proclaim their love for Our Lady and for Our Lord God throught their YES to their vocational call! May we all join in the Church Triumphant in praising God and using our eyes to see heavenly graces and gifts drifting across the plains, meadows, deserts, and cities. May we pray for our friends that are celebrating their Wedding Priestly and Deaconate anniversaries. Let us never forget the great joy and excitement we have felt during these times of Grace. As a 8 year old marks the one year anniversary of her first communion with so much enthusiasm may we never loose that desire for Our Lord in the Eucharist and may we never forget to thank the Lord for sending us Holy Priests and Holy Bishops.

Happy Anniversary to you celebrating these days of Anniversary of Matrimony and Holy Orders to Bishop, Priests, Brothers, Sisters, Husbands, Wives, Children and all whom are touched by those in our heavenly family through the Grace of God !!! May Our Lady surround you with her Mantle as you defend and protect the Church and May the Lord protect you and keep you may He make His face to shine upon you and bring you Peace!
